Delete your account and data
Last updated 1 July 2026
You can delete your Snowlax account and personal data at any time. Here is how, and what happens.
Subscriptions and billing
If you have a paid plan, requesting account deletion schedules your subscription to stop renewing while your account is in the 30-day grace period. You can also cancel first from Plans & billing: choose Manage, then cancel in Stripe. Or contact us at support@snowlax.com. If you believe you are still being charged after requesting deletion, email us and we will stop the billing and refund charges taken after deletion.
Delete from inside the app
The quickest way, if you can sign in:
- Open Snowlax and go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted.
- Your account enters a 30-day grace period. The app will show a deletion-pending screen with a button to cancel deletion and keep your account.
Cancel during the grace period
You can cancel deletion any time before the permanent deletion date. Sign back in to Snowlax; if your account is pending deletion, the app shows Your account is scheduled for deletion with a Cancel deletion — keep my account button. Choosing it restores access and stops the deletion process.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in, email us from the address on your account at support@snowlax.comwith the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask a question or two to verify it is really you before we proceed.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we remove:
- your profile and account details;
- your business and financial content, including invoices, expenses, receipts, documents, and the messages you sent the assistant;
- files and images you uploaded.
If you are a member of a shared workspace owned by someone else, deleting your account removes you from it; content owned by that workspace stays with its owner.
What we may keep
We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires it (for example, tax, accounting, or transaction records), to resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our terms. We keep this only as long as needed and then delete or de-identify it.
How long it takes
In-app deletion requests have a 30-day grace period before permanent deletion. Email requests are actioned within 30 days after verification. Backups are purged on a rolling cycle, so residual copies in secure backups may persist for a short additional period before they are overwritten.
